Melbourne's water storages are currently at: 32.7% Storages have dropped for the fourth week in a row after a week of below-average rainfall and runoff. The volume of water flowing into the major reservoirs was also below average. The 3.7 billion litres of streamflow was 27.2% below the long-term average for this time of year, 5.1 billion litres. Melbourne households continued their thrifty water use, keeping residential consumption under the target of 155 litres per person a day for the 12th consecutive week.
